I wore this to dinner the other day.
I want it to be warm again. Inside photos just aren't good. I tried using a picture editor on these. I don't know if it made much of a difference.
I haven't worn these pants in a while. I love the color. And I wore sneakers because there is slush and ice all over the ground.

I scream

My family is starting an ice cream and chocolate shop. I wore this to go look at an ice cream distributor.
I love the little dogs in sweaters on my shirt. I think they are adorable. More clothing for grownups should have animals on it.

I'm bundled up at my desk. My county is expected to get 8 inches of snow. I thought I'd look at some winter weather clothing.

I know these are rain boots but I like rain boots for the snow. They have traction and the melting snow doesn't make them gross looking.
This leopard hat is adorable. I love the little pom poms that look like ears.
The color is on this peacoat is really great. I like how it is longer than a normal peacoat. It is very streamlined.
This looks like a blanket I can wear outside. That is exactly what I want in this kind of weather.

This is my first Renfrew from Sewaholic Patterns. It has some flaws but I'm pretty pleased with it.
I love the cowl neckline and the sleeve length. I also like how the hems are bands instead of stitching. Those were really easy to sew
I did have some trouble with the sleeves and cowl. It's a bit puckery in some places but it isn't too noticable. On wovens when I do something curved I hand baste it first and I didn't do that here so I'll probably do that on my next one.

I like the way the pattern curves in at the waist. I'm pretty happy with this shirt. I don't think I'll make the more traditional tee shirt views but I already have fabric for another version of this view.

I went to a bull and oyster roast over the weekend. The pit beef was awesome and I'm sure her brother's baseball team raised a lot of money. I didn't have time to take my photos before I left. So my friend did two quick snaps for me.
This isn't a great photo but there was a cool fountain at the venue.

I wore this to watch the big game. I was rooting for the Seahawks because they have better colors.
I brought over cake batter truffles and they were a big hit. My boyfriend's mom brought Old Bay wings I was excited because those are my favorite kind of wings.

Valentine under 45

On Valentine's day I'm kind of cheesy and wear red or pink. I thought I'd look at some Valentine's dresses under $45. Two of them are under $30.
I have this dress in long sleeves and I love it. I imagine the red is just as flattering. This is a really good dress. Its at JcPenney for $39.99
This dress is adorable. I love the lace inserts. The color looks really vibrant too. It's at ASOS for $26.53.
This dress looks like a knockout. A little silver belt and some big earrings would look great with this. I like how the lace looks really delicate. It's from Forever 21 $27.90.
I really like the color on this dress. The style is really basic but it can be dressed up or down depending on your plans. Its from JcPenney $39.99
