I made my mom some curtains. Its not the most exciting project but she wanted them and she got me fabric.
I didn't have enough for all of the windows to be just the housewives so I found a turquiose in my stash that matched the rest of the kitchen and treated the housewives like you would trim a curtain with lace. I gathered it and attached it to the bottom.
I did fix my serger. It was threaded wrong. I finished me edges by serging.
This is my favorite girl in the print.

I wore this to school and trivia. At school I wore flats but I wanted to dress up my outfit a bit.
Jacket- Me, Shirt- Banana Republic, Pants- J. Crew, Shoes- Payless, Pearls- Macy's
Is is overkill to wear a leopard blazer with a safari print blouse? Probably, but I couldn't help myself.

I'm attempting to make some jambalaya tonight. I haven't cooked in a long time. I way more of a baker.

I made this jacket so long ago I almost forgot about it. I still really like it. Dark denim is so classic looking.
I finished my stepdad's pin-up shirt he loves it. Now I'm starting my mom's housewife curtains.

Retro Swimwear

I know I know, its barely spring and I'm already thinking of swimsuits. Lately I've been thinking about retro suits as much as I love my bikinis sometimes its nice to have a change.
This is the Esther Williams swimsuit. I love the emerald it looks totally flattering. It's cheaper on Amazon.
I found this swimsuit from this post on The Lingerie Addict blog. It looks so modern but it's an update of the Cole of California scandal suit and it's handmade.
Leopard never goes out of style I like the high waisted bottoms.
