My junior year of high school is almost over. I can't believe it! Lately, I've been doing that whole teenager thing hanging out with friends (mostly the same two) and seeing people who are getting home from college. Our school got our yearbooks its really hard to express how you feel about people in writing so usually I do some form of it was great knowing you. My friend wanted me to wear my rainbow fish dress so I did. I love this dress even though the circles fall off a lot.
The colors just make me happy when I look down at it. I wish I had more places to wear it because sometimes its to formal for school and my formal-ish events I dance and I can't dance that much in this.
dress- Diane Von Furstenburg gift, Necklace-Marc Jacobs, sweater-gift
My friend an I finally got bff necklaces. The idea came about when he said that I was like his best friend. Then, I hugged him and said now we need necklaces. The selection at Claire's wasn't good enough so we made our own.

That's jolteon, his favorite on my necklace. His necklace has rapidash because it's my favorite. So far we are pretty bad at remembering to wear them. But we made them out of shrinky dinks. He drew and I shrunk them and selected music to create to.

The weather has been really unpredictable lately. This week it's been warm, cold, rainy and sunny. This is from last week where it was warm enough to be outside without a jacket. I really like this dress because of the colors and how it flows when I walk. I wore my military jacket with it to nip in the waist when I got cold.
Dress- me, jacket- H&M, tee- came with a purchase, shoes-payless

On mother's day I went to the mall with my mom. We managed to get lost on our way there but we did find a cute little fair. She got a pretty necklace and earring set. I found a gorgeous bag; I'm not a bag girl so you know this was special. It was brown, soft and had buttons on the front. The sad thing was it had just been sold so it was only on display and it was the only one.

When we got to the mall we went to Forever 21 and I saw this on a mannequin and my mom bought it for me. It makes me feel like Daisy from the Great Gatsby and its twenties styled without being a typical flapper dress. Of course I had to wear it Monday, I'm not sure I like it with the two tone tights but I definitely see my self wearing this a lot: with boots in fall, and alone in the summer.

dress- Forever 21, tights- American Apparel, jacket- Marc Jacobs.

And I'm done with my AP tests so a big weight is off of my shoulders and half of my day I get to kick back.

I'm really excited for spring and summer weather. I decided to do a mood board type thing for what I'm digging for spring/summer. Here's last year's list.
FULL SKIRTS- I think full skirts are wonderful for spring; they are great for twirling and are cooler temperature wise than pants. I want skirts so big when I swish down the hallway the skirt swishes and I have a little cushion.
Showgirl- I really just want feathers and sequins. Lots of feathers and sequins.
Hair things- I'm going through another hat phase. Fascinator, headbands, and hats just scream spring to me. And in the summer when you wear less clothes they add some visual interest to an outfit.
Jimi Hendrix- I feel like he exudes confidence and what the kids these days call swagger. Also Axis Bold as Love is AMAZING.
Structure- I want things with interesting shapes. I see my self experimenting with pleats.
I also like Backless things (and it gives me plenty of opportunities to tell people I'm bringing sexyback), interesting prints and embroidered details.
