Etsy Picks

I love Etsy. And I actually have money now so my browsing can amount to something. Here are some things that I think are really cool.

  • Neawear- Mustache Necklace- I really like this because its a mustache. It also doubles as disguise I can't think of an occasion where a mustache necklace could be inappropriate.

  • Whichgoose-Candy- Once I find my Christmas money I think I'm going to get this. Its so colorful!

  • Nicolette Le Faye-New Year's Eve Dress- Puffy sleeves and its black and white.
  • Necessity is the mother-winter cheer skirt- It looks warm and has a BIG BOW!
  • Lovethyvintage-Red shoes- They are like Dorothy shoes and I like Dorothy shoes.

I want to do one of those Q&A posts soon because I think they are super fun and you get to know more about the person. And I can't do the A without the Q. SO if you have questions about me or my closet or the last book I read anything really, ask away in the comments or email me(its in my profile thing).

Wrap it up

I received a lovely Christmas card from Susanna-Cole of Girl meets NYC. Capes ,nice thoughts dresses hats exclamation points all things that are great in a card.
I often go to my parents friends parties with them I always bring a book because over the years I realized when you are young, adults don't want to talk to you. Whenever I go to the mentioned parties I'll find a nice place to sit and start my book. Usually if any contact occurs they ask What book are you reading, where do you go to school. After this they go talk to my parents because since I'm 15 they believe I have no complex thoughts. There was on exception to this someone preferred talking to me over talking to my mother. We discussed Leopard skin pill box hat by Bob Dylan, George Clinton, and Rei Kawakubo.

There was a point of that somehow. Oh, yes I wore this outfit to a parental party and For a quick (10 minute until clothing time ) thrifting trip.

I told my mom how lace is a universal fabric because it unites everyone supermodels, prostitutes, grannies, and regular people like you and me. She laughed.

An outfit and DIY

I sorta forgot to take pictures of last weeks outfit but Friday I dressed like a plant and won a game of twister so I shall take pictures over beak to show you.

Today I tried to get a spontaneous singalong going in biology. It didn't work so well but I got one other person to sing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and no one else know the drieldel song. My friend told me should dress in red so I did tomorrow shall be green.

What I did in school Doesn't that last picture look like a rainbow brick road.I made for a friend Christmas present.

and the world's easiest DIY. A gift box bow headband

Paint ,glitter spray, hot glue ,head band or ribbon, bow
Paint an use glitter spray on head band If using ribbon skip this.
Glue bow on headband or ribbon with the ribbon you will probably need to fold the paper down and glue again if you used a really obnoxious bow like I did

Wear, feel accomplished!

Viktor and Rolf Part 1

I'm getting sick of seeing myself plastered all over this blog. So I figured I'll actually write something here.

Viktor and Rolf are one(two technically) of my favorite designers. I think they are very creative and imaginative which I find very important. So I'm going to review their collections.

Let's start at the begging shall we...

1993

Doesn't that skirt make you smile and that pants/skirt suit.

First couture show Summer 1998

Colors: Mostly cream with splashes of color and metallic

Elements: Folding,Volume around the face, slimmer skirts and there appears to be cage skirt.

I picked my favorite pieces in this collection.I really love the back of the cream coat in the second photo. It reminds me of a bow.

Hopefully this series shall get better when I make pictures biggger and write something semi-intelligent.

i wonder

I started an Etsy shop I just have two necklaces up now. I'm going to put the longer skirt of what I'm wearing in my outfit post up tomorrow. Today what I'm wearing isn't that interesting. And I feel ripping my tights in English class was possibly the most productive thing I did in school. And i had to tell my friend that he probably won't die. So uh on a lighter note here are some photos that aren't of me for once.

I wonder if the man at the top snapped by the Sartorliast saw my school's musical and was inspired. The outfit look very similar. Especially that jacket. hmm?

in denial

Here is my favorite outfit from last week. It was very cold so I realized that I need to wear longer skirt or more pairs of tights.

dress-costume,tights we love colors,edie tee gift,marc jocobs jacket,shoes thrift.

As a Christmas present to myself I bought a copy of British vogue the Le sac dress and two tone tights from American apparel. When I got home I realized I paid $40 for two rectangles and string. It's surprisingly warm and super fun to play with. I spent an hour playing with it when I got home.

dress American apparel, tee target, jacket and knee socks forever 21

I traded a batch of my fudge for my friends sugar cookies today It was very exciting because they are the best sugar cookies I've had they are nice and soft. Looking at the pictures my outfit is almost Alice in Wonderland-y.

A food pyramid with 16 blocks

On Monday I wore the flower skirt I made. I really love it I also wore on thanksgiving. It was originally going to be all big flowers but, the super sweet lady at my local craft place said that I should throw in some little flowers. I think it was a great suggestion. I made a puff skirt then machine sewed the flowers then hand sewed a little pearl bead on each flower.

(this was supposed to be a detail shot.)
I felt like a big walking garden I think if I do another skirt like this it would be ALL flower covered.
Today I wore a dress from the vintage store that I love. It was my first real purchase there I got it because I did well in school. It was a very short trip because the salesgirl that I talk too wasn't there.

I think I got whistled at by some stupid boy this morning, sometimes I hate people.Whistling at me does not make me find you attractive it just makes me think you are a pig.

But in good news some girl walked up to me today and said "You are awesome" and it was weird because I don't really know her but its good to her these things when suburban people sometimes look at you like you have 3 heads.
