Top Outfits 2015

A new year is coming up I thought I'd show you my favorite outfits of 2015.
I wore this to a fashion show. I love the feather top and jacket.

This Trashy Diva dress is one of my favorite dresses. It's my don't know what to wear dress and it can be dressed up or down.

I love pink and green together.

This is super Christmas-y. I love wearing my silly holiday jewelry.

I wore this to a trade show. I like the mix of professional and fun.
I hope everyone has a fun New Year's Eve.

Dark Side

My mom got me a Darth Vader hoodie for Christmas, my stepdad was kinda confused because I almost never wear hoodies. So my mom and I went to Hot Topic and found this jacket. It's subtly dorky. I've been wanting a leather jacket because I've just been wearing my mom's.
This jacket is from Her Universe. It's really cool fandom stuff designed for girl's. I love not having to get boy stuff. I think it runs kind small but Hot Topic is a juniors store. The sleeves are really long. I have the cuffed under.
The stitching and piecing is reminiscent of Darth Vader but it's normal enough to be worn everyday.

The lining is so cool too!

New Year's Eve Dresses Under $50

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. New Year's Eve is next week and here a great New Year's Eve dresses under $50.
I like this sparkly dress because of the mesh inserts. $31.50
You can't go wrong with a black dress. I love the shoulder detail on this one. $39.90
I love how retro this is. It reminds me of the zou bisou bisou dress from Mad Men. $39.99
Orange is such an unexpected color for New Year's Eve. I love the style of the top too. $40.60
This was almost my New Year's Eve dress. Sadly it's really tight in the hips but if you have slim hips I think it's a great dress, I love the low back. $29.90

Sewaholic Stanley Tree

I made a Stanley tree for my friend for Christmas. It was really quick to sew and I used fabric from my stash. I think the pink is still festive. I cut it out one morning before work, sewed the it another day and stuffed it watching Married at first sight.
This my first time stuffing something so I think my stuffing needs work some parts are firmer than others.
I think it's a cute quirky holiday decoration. Next year, I might make some for the house and the store. I'd reccomend this pattern if you are looking for a quick and easy gift.

Force

I wore this to see Star Wars. I guess it's a little dorky to dress up for a movie but I have a lot of Star Wars stuff. I loved The Force Awakens! It felt so real and like the Star Wars magic returned. It was a good day and I got to have dinner at one of my favorite restaurants too.

I love these faux fur earmuffs. They are so fun and they really keep my ears warm. I got them in white too.

Star Wars Clothing

I was going to talk about red and green Christmas dresses and then I remembered that Star Wars is out and that's much more exciting! I'm going to see it on Monday, I'm really looking forward to it. I'm trying to know as little as possible. I'm not going on Facebook until after I see it so I don't accidentally run into spoilers.
This sleepshirt is cozy and the R2-D2 print looks really nice.
I really like R2-D2. This purse is adorable and subtle. It would be a quirky piece with a little black dress.
This Leia dress is really impractical but it comes with buns! I love Leia she's a great character. I've bee wanting to make a Leia costume for a while. I don't know much about the new movie. I want to go in knowing little but I do know a few of the new characters and I'm so excited for Rey.
These BB8 earrings are my favorite piece in this post. I think they are really subtle. BB8 is adorable and I love that JJ Abrams actually uses a real robot instead of CGI.
The socks are probably the most practical piece. I love pairing fun socks with my work clothes. I've got Frozen, sports and ice cream but no Star Wars ankle socks.
Will you be seeing The Force Awakens?

Bows and Ornaments

I wore this to a holiday luncheon. I don't get to wear my fancy clothes at the store too much so I wore almost all of my red and green stuff to the lucheon. And I got to wear my fun Christmas jewelry.

The skirt can make me look a bit hippy but it's so cute.

Holiday Sweaters

It's getting close to Christmas and even though it's barely cold enough for sweaters, let's take a look at holiday sweaters.
I love the little 3d bows on this H&M sweater. The black makes it easy to pair with everything.
I like the snowflake trim on this sweater. It also comes in plus size.
I like this sweater because the nose on the reindeer really lights up!
I guess this is more of a sweater dress but it has a lot of charm.
This is technically for men but I think a lady could pull it off.

Holidays

This is the kind of dress that can only be worn around the holidays. It's so festive and the green is such a great shade. I hosted a ladies holiday night at the store. I love having events. It's great for the community and it give me a break from my usual work look of jeans.
