Gingham is a huge trend for spring. It is classic and feminine. When I was a kid I preferred blue gingham just like Dorothy. Now I like black so I look less like a production of the Wizard of Oz. I found some great gingham looks for under $100.
skirt from Bloomingdale's looks classic but it has a bit of an edge because it is made from scuba material. The skirt also has a matching crop top. The Asos pants have a large gingham that is a bit subtle. These would look fantastic with a leather jacket and studded heels. The shirt from Forever 21 is a classic button-up and it also comes in black. I love this dress from Modcloth. It isn't out yet but it looks so perfect for spring and even into fall. I love the circle skirt and the bias waistband. There is another dress that is a little cheaper but it has a straight gathered skirt. Modcloth also has an Esther Williams gingham swimsuit. It looks so cheerful and flattering. The Betsey Johnson earrings from Amazon are the epitome of girlieness. They've got flowers, bows, rhinestones and cheery green gingham.
