Purple Leopard

I wore this to go to the grocery store to get ingredients for dinner. I'm cooking and it is striking fear and excitement from my parents. I will be making Beouf a la ficelle and pommes puree from The Les Halles Cookbook. One of my goals for this year is to learn to make something other than ramen. Hopefully by the time my meal is done I will look as smug as Anthony Bourdain. This is one of my favorite dresses I've made. I wear it so often. Tomorrow I will be starting my undersea dress. I'm going to buy a pattern because it turns out that I don't know a lot about pattern drafting. Dress- Made by me, belt-don't know,shoes-DSW, bracelet-gift,Bag- Monster BallI love this bag because it reminds me of my favorite day ever. Do you have any items that remind you of something special?

really such a lovely dress :) hm, honestly, I really love my 3 pounds vintage tunic I bought some years ago on portobello road. It was my first vintage piece from the 70s and it reminds me on a very happy time :)

I am in such awe of your clothes making skills. you are so talented!! I have lots of clothes that remind me of events, but my most special is a turquoise ring I have that was my best friends but we swapped rings when she moved. I've had it for 4 years and every time I look at it I think of her ^-^

The tote is amazing. You look like a 50s housewife now that I know you're cooking!

Of course most of my clothes remind me of special times and that's one of the main things I love about dressing.

Beautiful dress! Its just dreamy!

All of my clothes remind me of things (the day I bought them, something that happened whilst wearing it). My favourite cardi got me and this beautiful man talking once, when he said how lovely it looked on me. He still says it every time I wear it 3 and a half years later!

That cookbook is one of my favorites, although I find the dishes rather complicated. I'm inspired by your dedication to bistro cooking! xo
